A limited number of reasonably priced dormitory rooms are available
on the American University campus. These are pleasant rooms, but not
fancy. These rooms do NOT have private bathrooms. If you want
nicer accomodation, you must stay in a hotel. Note that there are
no hotels within walking distance of American University.
The dorm rooms will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. The
rooms are available from Wednesday evening June 2, through (inclusive)
Saturday night June 5. If you need a room either before or after
these dates, please contact us directly and we may be able to reserve
a dorm room.

There will be a banquet dinner on Friday, June 4 at 6 PM at Hogates, a
restaurant on the Potomac River. The cost is $50.00 per person.
This price includes a buffet dinner with crab soup, spinach salad,
shrimp with pasta primavera salad, baked flounder, breast of chicken
marsala, beef tenderloin medallions, rice pilaf, au gratin potatoes,
bread and pastries. Coffee, tea, soda and two drinks are included.
Banquet reservations and payment must be received by June 1, 1999.
