Teaching Experience:

Before moving to Washington DC in 2000, I lived in New Haven, Connecticut for 16 years. During the 80’s, I taught at Albertus Magnus College and in the 90’s I taught at Central Connecticut State University.

Research Interest:   Mathematics Education

I have written two books and a number of articles encouraging middle and high school teachers to use a more visual approach in the classroom.  I am currently working on a research project, assessing basic visual thinking skills of students entering calculus.
